Four of our Mortimer teams are in action this weekend.
Our Under 12's side start us off as normal with a 12:30pm kick off on Saturday, against Caversham Trents U12 at the North Street Playing Fields in Theale. Caversham have two wins from two games, as do Mortimer, so it should be a well contested game.
At 2pm there's a choice of two games. Our Men's First team are at home to top-of-the-table Caversham United, for which this is their first away game having played four games at home on the trot, which could explain their four wins from four, putting them firmly at the top of the table in TVPL Division 1. Also at 2pm our Reserves side are away to Sandhurst FC Rovers, who sit 8th in the league, four below our own Reserves team. Sandurst won their first game of the season but lost the next and have a -8 goal difference. Mortimer have a draw and a win under their belts and have a much more healthy +5 GD!
Wrapping up the weekend is our Mortimer Sunday team, home to Three Towers United in the Reading & District Sunday League: Division 5, kick off is at 10:30am. As with our U12 game, both Mortimer and Three Towers have 6 points.
