New manager Matt Cuthbertson said:
I'm delighted to take on the role of First Team Manager at Mortimer. Having been in and around the team for the past 12 months I feel I'm in a strong position to move the team forward into the next season.
I started watching and supporting Mortimer as a child, with family playing for the club, so I know how good it can be to play football here. My aim is to make this a great place to play football again.
Over the next week or so we'll be putting our management group into place. The pre-season friendlies are already pretty much in the diary, and now it's about working with the team to make us as successful as we can be over the coming seasons. We won't be perfect to start with, but we will grow and develop as a group.
Thank you to Matt Gabb and the committee for the support and confidence with this. I will fight tooth and nail to ensure we create something successful for the people that have worked so hard for this club.
