New Management Duo for Men's First Team

Mortimer FC are pleased to announce that Mike Hancock has returned to the club, taking the role of Manager of the Men's First Team. Matt Cuthbertson has stepped into the role of Assistant Manager to assist Mike.

Matt Cuthbertson sent a message to the first team, welcoming Mike into the role.

I'm delighted to announce that Mike Hancock will be joining Mortimer FC as First Team Manager, with myself stepping into the role of Assistant Manager.

Mike brings a huge amount of experience and shares the ambition of rebuilding and strengthening the club. After speaking at length, we're both fully committed to creating a positive environment, raising standards and helping move Mortimer FC forward.

We see this as a real benefit to the club going forwards. Mike's appointment will not only strengthen us on the pitch but will also support the wider development of the club off the pitch. As we look to grow the club, increase participation and build for the future, having additional leadership, experience and ideas in place will help us create a stronger and more sustainable club for everyone involved.

This is a fresh start and an opportunity for everyone. We want to build a team that people are proud to be part of and a club that can thrive both this season and for many years to come.
